Amy Robach and TJ Holmes apparently mixed business with pleasure while traveling together on a work trip in late September.
Sources tell Page Six that the couple, who allegedly had an affair of several months earlier this year and would have left their spouses in August, were “very friendly and cuddly” when returning to JFK after Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
The insider added that the “Good Morning America” anchors were “loving while waiting for the luggage. But no kisses.
Despite flying in business class with a group of “GMA” employees, the duo made no attempt to hide their affection and “stayed close to each other” throughout the travel day.
In a photo obtained by Page Six, Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, can be seen laughing and smiling together while waiting at baggage claim.
Robach, who deleted his social networks after the news broke on Wednesday, kept things casual in black leggings and a white t-shirt, while Holmes wore a black t-shirt for the long trip.
A source told Page Six that the news anchors’ adventure began in March when they were training together for the New York Half Marathon.
Another source claims to have spotted the two “canoodling” at bars near ABC News in May.
Meanwhile, a staffer told Us that “the ‘GMA’ producers are shocked to hear they are having an affair.”
Adding: “They have a very warm relationship on air, but that’s what you’d expect. But they’ve been very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair a secret.
Robach and Holmes appeared to be enjoying a romantic getaway upstate before celebrating Thanksgiving, according to to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
In the snaps, the anchors held hands while strolling on their vacation. In another film, Holmes appeared to grab Robach’s butt as she pulled their luggage out of the trunk.
Robach has been married to Andrew Shue since 2010 and the couple have no children together. However, the “Dateline” star has two children with ex-husband Tim McIntosh.
Likewise, Holmes and his wife Marilee Fiebig also married in 2010 and share one child. He also has two children with his ex Amy Fershon.
Representatives for Robach and Holmes did not respond to Page Six’s numerous requests for comment.
