Prisco’s Week 11 NFL Pick: Aaron Rodgers, Packers keep bouncing back; Patriots sweep Jets; Vikings stay hot

For some weird reason I just can’t get it to work with my picks, especially when it comes to my CBSSports.com selection of experts. I’m under .500 and it’s getting worse week by week. I was 5-9 last week, which dropped my record to 67-77-6.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is that I went 5-1 with my best bets on the Pick-Six podcast, bringing my record to 34-23-2 for the season. Which I will take.

My direct picks were 8-6 to take that record to 85-64-1, which isn’t terrible. But it’s time to do better in expert picks. I’m tempted to waste weeks.

Latest odds:

Green Bay Packers -3

The Packers picked up a life-saving win over the Cowboys in overtime on Sunday, showing signs of life on offense. The Titans beat the Broncos, despite a bunch of injuries in defense. This shows their tenacity. It’s a tough turnaround, though, and I think the Packers are keeping momentum after beating the Cowboys.

Take: Packers 24, Titans 19

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

Atlanta Falcons -3

The Falcons will be a little more rested after playing last Thursday, and they’re still alive in the divisional race. This game will feature two quarterbacks who love to run, with Chicago’s Justin Fields a real challenge for any defense. But I think the Falcons will find a way to slow it down here and get a rebounding win after losing to the Panthers.

Take: Falcons 27, Bears 23

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

Baltimore Ravens -12

The Panthers will start Mayfield Baker at the quarterback here with PJ Walker hurt. The Ravens have known him well since he was with Cleveland. The Ravens’ defense is also starting to shape up, which isn’t good news for the Panthers. Expect Baltimore to come out of the bye with a big win.

Take: Crows 30, Panthers 16

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Latest odds:

Buffalo Tickets -8

The Browns are on the road for a second straight week after losing to Miami last week. The Bills just suffered a terrible loss to the vikings, a game that saw them lose a late 17-point lead. They’ll take that frustration out of the Browns defense, which has been terrible. Look for Josh Allen to bounce back with a big day.

Take: Bills 35, Browns 21

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

Washington Commanders -3

The commanders upset Eagles Monday evening, and they are back on the road for a second consecutive week. It’s tough, but the Texans have run defense issues, which the COs will exploit like they did against the Eagles. Expect Washington to top .500 with a win.

Take: Commanders 24, Texans 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Latest odds:

Philadelphia Eagles -6.5

The Eagles are coming off their first loss, while the Colts are coming off an impressive victory in Jeff Saturday’s first game as interim coach. They looked better going to matt ryan again at quarterback. The Eagles have run defense issues, which could show up with Jonathan Taylor have a big day. I think the Eagles will get back on track and win this one, but it’s close.

Take: Eagles 27, Foals 24

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Latest odds:

New England Patriots -3

It’s a big game in terms of playoff possibilities. The Patriots beat the Jets three weeks ago in their place in a defensively dominated game. It should be another game dominated by defenses, and at home I will take the defense of the Patriots.

Take: Patriots 20, Jets 16

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

New Orleans Saints -4

The Rams have major problems and will now be forced to play without cooper blow after injuring his ankle. It’s bad for an offense that struggled and might not have Matthew Stafford (concussion). The Saints looked lifeless in attack losing to the Steelers Last week. But back home, I think that will change. Look for a big match of Alvin Kamara as the Saints earn it.

Take: Saints 24, Rams 18

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

New York Giants -3

It’s the second straight road game for the Lions, who won in Chicago last week. The offense continues to play well, but they still have defensive issues. Look for a big match of Saquon Barkley here for the Giants as they advance for a playoff spot. The giants take over.

Take: Giants 26, Lions 19

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (Fox, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

Las Vegas Raiders +2.5

It’s a game between two of the biggest disappointments in the league. The Broncos can’t score and the Raiders can’t stop anyone. Something has to give. I think the Raiders will get their saves and Derek Carr and the offense will find a way to win it.

Take: Raiders 28, Broncos 21

Dallas Cowboys (-1) vs. Minnesota Vikings

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Latest odds:

Minnesota Vikings +1

The Vikings are home after a miraculous victory over the Bills last week when they rallied 17 at the end. The Cowboys are on the road for a second straight week after losing a 14-point fourth-quarter lead to the Packers. The Cowboys had major coverage issues last week, which Justin Jefferson will exploit. Look for the Vikings to continue.

Take: Vikings 30, Cowboys 26

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Latest odds:

Cincinnati Bengals -4.5

The Bengals are coming off a bye pass, while the Steelers are coming off an impressive win over the Saints. The Pittsburgh defense seemed to be back in this game, which is a good sign. But it’s a big challenge in the Bengals offense. Joe Terrier is hard to stop. They won’t stop it. The Bengals take it.

Take: Bengals 31, Steelers 21

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, Fubo TV)

Latest odds:

Kansas City Chiefs -6.5

This is basically deciding the division for the chiefs. Earn it, and it’s theirs. Lose, and it’s a race. The Chiefs are skyrocketing right now and I think it will show. Patrick Mahomes will get the best against Justin Herbert.

Take: Chiefs 35, Chargers 27

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Latest odds:

San Francisco 49ers-8

The 49ers are coming off a win over the Chargers, while the Cardinals beat the Rams with Colt McCoy at quarterback. There is a chance Kyler Murray is back in this one, but that won’t matter. The 49ers are ready to roll with plenty of their healthy guys.

Take: 49ers 30, Cardinals 23
